This poignant ballad delves into the complexities of unrequited love, balancing the emotions of love and heartbreak. Co-written by Alex Kolo and Lydia Laird, “One of These Days”; explores deep, unfulfilled desires and the bittersweet reality of loving someone who might never love you back.

At just 20 years old, Alex Kolo, a student at Belmont University’s renowned Curb School of Music Business, is a passionate music lover, having traveled across the country and across the globe to see her favorite artists perform. Her music is a vibrant blend of influences from various genres and languages. Having recently completed her second study abroad program in Germany, Kolo’s fluency in German and Dutch and her ongoing studies in Polish and Russian infuse her music with a unique global perspective. The song’s co-writer, Lydia Laird, brings wisdom and heart to the project, enhancing the emotional depth of the track.
